Sometimes in a song there's just a lyric that hits you in the right spot. You know that lyric, the one that says exactly how you're feeling. The one that the singer sings exactly how you would say it. That lyric that just kind of gets you.
Today it was Charlie Hall and the way he says, "but Jesus today I'm so tired." He sings it with this emotion that just feels exactly how I feel, sounds exactly how I would say it. It really got to me...in a good way.
"Jesus today I am tired,
I need your music to come and inspire,
I give myself to be refined in this fire,
