Today I heard a disturbing statistic, something like 25% of women aged 18-34 would rather lose their ability to read than be ugly!
REALLY?!?! I mean SERIOUSLY!?!? You've got to be JOKING!!!
I would rather be ugly hands down. The ability to read is so much more important to me. I think it's so sad and shows where society is going if we continue to teach young people that looks are more important than oh, I don't know...YOUR BRAIN! Just makes me sad I guess.
